The  2007 season for the 1a car is now in the books. A decent learning season for both of us. We look forward to next year.

New Egypt Speedway opens up their 2007 season this Saturday. If we are able to make repairs in time, we just may show up there!

The first ever DIRT tour race for Ron was run at Hagerstown on 3/31/07. An 11th place finish after starting in the 30th position capped off a decent learning run. It was also the first DIRT tour race for Brian and Chris in 8 years. We learned a little bit about the tire difference between the Hoosiers and the American Racers, and the difference between day and night races there. We now look forward to the next DIRT tour race in Virginia on May 3rd.

In an effort to enhance performance, visibility, and salability, we will be combining the Chris Weaver, Ron Dieffenbach, Jim Wagner, and Brian Weaver Racing teams into one bigger and more recognizable team. All three cars will be very similar in design and graphics. Each car will display all of the sponsors of each individual team. The only visible difference will be the placement of each teams prominent sponsor in strategic locations for that car. Also, we will be going back to the roots of Weaver Bros. Racing with the original number 1A being proudly displayed on all of the cars! Look for the newest creation at the Super DIRT series race at Hagerstown on March 31st!!

Our first race of 2007 is officially a success! After overcoming several small obstacles with a little extra elbow grease, the team was rewarded with a fine 2nd place finish and 11 laps led in the feature.

The beginning of the season will see a combining of efforts between Weaver Bros. Motorsports, Wagner Racing, Dieffenbach Racing. Jim Wagner will provide a strong Wally Fiehls big block engine. Ron Dieffenbach will provide the 2006 Bicknell race car, and the Weaver Bros. will provide the working support.

Another Wally Fiehls big block is in process now and will be added to the team shortly.

Our next race is at Hagerstown March 17th with the same combination. Then we will go back there on March 31st for the 100 lap DIRT series tour race.
